وقالت الروائية العراقية بتول الخضيري
بأنها اتفقت مع المخرج العراقي طارق هاشم لتحويل روايتها الأولي( كم بدت السماء
قريبة) إلي فيلم سينمائي وشاركت في كتابة السيناريو باللغة الإنجليزية وأشارت في
مؤتمرها الصحفي الذي عقدته في دار الأندي بمناسبة صدور روايتها الثانية(غايب)
وحضرته صحيفة(الزمان) إلي أنها التقت بالمخرج طارق الحائز علي جائزة الصقر الذهبي
في مهرجان روتردام للسينما العربية لفيلمه التسجيلي الطويل 16 ساعة في بغداد، إضافة
إلي مشاركتها في تحرير سيناريو لمسلسل تلفزيوني (عائلة أمريكية) تتحدث عن الحرب
الأخيرة ضد العراق عام 2003 وترجمت روايتها الأولي إلي خمس لغات هي الإنجليزية
والفرنسية والألمانية والهولندية والإيطالية.
